PODERM® Corns - Calluses Digitube Protection provides effective protection for the toes, reducing friction and pressure. It immediately relieves pain and limits overheating between the toes thanks to its protective cushioning gel.

Suitable for all types of footwear, it is available in two sizes for a perfect fit (see size guide). Corns (or partridge eyes) are a common pathology of the forefoot caused by repeated rubbing, manifested by pain, redness and the formation of calluses. PODERM® Corns - Calluses Digitube Protection provides immediate comfort to the toe by soothing, relieving and softening the affected area. It also prevents calluses and encourages their disappearance, providing lasting protection and a feeling of well-being.

Using PODERM® Corns - Calluses Digitube Protection helps to reduce these symptoms and considerably improve foot comfort.

Do not apply to open or oozing wounds. For external use only and limited to a single patient, for a maximum of 16 hours a day. What are horns and partridge eyes?

Partridge eyes, also known as corns, are small areas of skin that harden and form a protuberance on the toes. Hyperkeratosis, i.e. thickening of the epidermis, tends to appear in areas of friction, i.e. on the tops, tips and sides of the toes.

What causes a horn?

The appearance and development of protuberances on the toes can be linked to various causes, but the most common is wearing the wrong shoes. Sweating feet or repetitive activities such as walking, running or various sports can also cause a horn to form on the toe or foot.

Where does the name 'partridge-eye' come from?

Partridge eyes are horns located between two toes. It is so called because it very often has a black dot in the centre, surrounded by a red halo, which simply reminds us of a partridge's eye!

What's the difference between a horn and a callus?

The horn can be distinguished from the callus by the presence of a horny point in its centre, which presses on the nerve endings, often causing pain.

When should I use PODERM® Partridge Eye Protection?

To soothe pain and stop the formation of painful areas of horn, you need to protect the skin for at least a month. These small protective sheaths lined with arnica gel will help to distribute pressure, limit rubbing and heal. We also recommend that you wear well-fitting shoes with good toe support, and that you change the type of shoes you wear every day.
