How does this anti-ridge polish work to smooth ridged nails?

Color Smooth anti-ridge polish works through two complementary mechanisms:

  • The smoothing effect: its texture creates a film that instantly fills nail ridges on the surface, for an even finish from the first coat.
  • The action of the active ingredients: with collagen, AHA and silicon, it nourishes the nail and helps it regain flexibility and strength, helping to visibly reduce irregularities over time.

For more pronounced ridges, a second coat reinforces the smoothing effect. Combined with the Top Coat, it gives a glossy finish reminiscent of a professional gel.

Can this polish be used after semi-permanent polish?

Yes, it is even one of its recommended uses! Ideal for recovery after semi-permanent polish, to keep colour while the nail breathes. Formula permeable to PODERM® serums to continue a targeted treatment of ridged or weakened nails. Nourishes and regenerates the nail while you wear the colour. A good transition option if your nails need to recover.

What is the difference between the PODERM® Color Smooth and Color Strong ranges?

The two ranges meet different needs.

Color Smooth targets ridged nails: its formula with collagen, AHA and silicon instantly fills surface irregularities and visibly smooths the nail.

Color Strong targets brittle, soft or splitting nails: its formula with keratin, biotin and silicon lastingly strengthens the nail structure.

Both ranges remain permeable to PODERM® nail serums and are used with the same 3-step routine (Base Coat, colour, Top Coat).
