The PODERM® PLANTAR PAIN & CALLUS PROTECTION comprises the patented PODERM® cushioning and protective gel with concentrated ARNICA and the breathable PODERM® AIRFORM fabric.
The PODERM PLANTAR PAIN AND CALLUS PROTECTION® forms a protection around the forefoot area to immediately soothe pain, limit friction, spread pressure and absorb microshocks to the feet.
Plantar pain or metatarsalgia is a frequent pathology caused by excess pressure and makes itself known by pain or the presence of (plantar) calluses. The PODERM® PLANTAR PAIN & CALLUS PROTECTION is recommended in cases of Morton’s neuroma (or Morton’s syndrome), sesamoiditis (pain under the 1st metatarsophalangeal joint), plantar calluses or corns (excess pressure).
- The PODERM® AIRFORM fabric has been specifically designed to allow skin to breathe, sweat to escape and the natural ingredients in the PODERM Gel to pass through. Its polyester fibres are both supple and resistant in order to fit every type of flexible shoe.
- The internal cushion made of a patented concentrated Arnica gel, provides immediate comfort to soothe, soften, purify and repair the afflicted area. It prevents calluses and promotes their disappearance.
What are the symptoms of plantar pain/calluses? Pain present in the metatarsal palette. Collapse of the plantar fat pad. Appearance of redness and formation of calluses.

Application
The PODERM® PLANTAR PAIN AND CALLUS PROTECTION is worn directly against the skin, whether on the right or left foot (turn the brace over). The product adapts to every type of flexible shoe and is available in two sizes: S or L.
The product is reusable. Wash the product by hand with warm water and allow to dry. Do not use for more than 16 hours per day. Do not apply to an open wound. Diabetics and people suffering from blood circulation problems must seek advice from a healthcare professional before use.

What are the causes and symptoms of plantar pain and a callus?
Metatarsalgia, commonly known as plantar pain, is mostly caused by excess pressure. In order to offset poor support on the ground, the foot reacts by increasing the cellular renewal rate. The corn is therefore created in order to increase the interface between the ground and the bones of the forefoot in order to redistribute the pressure over a larger area. These areas of hyperkeratosis, called calluses, can be very painful when walking.
How do I soothe the pain of a callus?
If the pain is chronic or constant, it is recommended you use a PODERM® protective cushion in closed-toe shoes. Podiatrists may also remove calluses in their surgeries.
When should you use PODERM PLANTAR PAIN AND CALLUS PROTECTION?
The symptoms are recent. Need to protect the metatarsal palette (bones located under the forefoot) from pressure and friction using protection that is comfortable, thin and light.
What is the specific characteristic of the PODERM® protection?
