All about the product

How can I tell if I have a fungal nail infection?

To find out if I have a fungal nail infection, I observe my nail. Certain signs may indicate a fungal infection:

  • First stage of the infection: Yellow or white spots appear on the nail, or there is some discoloration.
  • Second stage: This change in the nail’s natural color is accompanied by thickening of the nail.
  • Third stage: The nail becomes completely damaged and starts to detach from the nail bed.

To confirm this diagnosis, I consult a healthcare professional, such as a podiatrist. A sample may sometimes be taken to confirm the diagnosis in a laboratory.

For more details, check out our dedicated article: How to treat a fungal nail infection?

How many applications does the pen contain?

The pen is applied 1 or 2 times a day for 2 to 3 months, depending on the number of nails affected.

When should you treat a fungal nail infection?

As early as possible! A fungal infection usually begins in a small part of the nail, then spreads to the entire nail and sometimes even to the surrounding nails. It's important to start treatment as soon as possible to prevent the spread, for example with the Fungal Nail Serum Pen. Moreover, the less the nail is damaged, the faster the healing process will be.
